I'm afraid it's unavoidable. I'm afraid Medium will go the way of JAG and the likes.

I think we should actually glad there was another season. Sure, it sucks that it will be gone, but hey, at least it got more than five seasons. That's more than a lot of seasons can say. Just think of Dark Angel, Firefly, The 4400 (oh dear), Farscape, Dollhouse and many, many others.

I will be sad when it ends, but I will not be as sad as when the 4400 ended, unresolved. Medium is much more flexible, and it doesn't need a "happy ending"/ series finale. All it needs is a last episode, which might leave some ends open for (fingers crossed) a book series, or something else.
